Independence!

legoThe Not Quite Independence Day Parade is coming up this weekend! That means red, white and blue parade floats, lemonade, BBQ and ice cream, and of course fireworks! As Americans, we love to celebrate our Independence – and rightly so! On the local level, it doesn’t have to be July 4th for us to celebrate – our parade falls on June 29! – we celebrate each time we go a local store or restaurant, or attend local events like the parade, the Farmers MarketArt In The Alley and of course the Waterbury Arts Fest where we will have over 70 independent artists!  Right here in Waterbury there are tons of ways you can celebrate Independence each and every day!

This is why the Waterbury Arts Fest is thrilled to partner up once again with our Benefactor Sponsor, Waterbury Pharmacy. Our locally and independently owned pharmacy offers not only the latest computer technology, extensive clinical experience and the best pharmaceutical service around, but they also have hands-down the best customer service you could dream of. Their friendly and knowledgeable staff will offer a personalized experience to your visit, whether you’re filling a prescription, need to pick up some sunblock or sunglasses or get the new Lone Ranger Lego set, they will help you get exactly what you are looking for.

Stop by and see them  Monday through Friday, 8 am – 7 pm, Saturday 8 am – 2 pm and Sunday 9 am – 12 pm. Find them on Facebook and see their webpage for more info. You can also find them on Saturday July 13 at the Waterbury Arts Fest!

This Independence weekend – and every chance you can – be sure to support the local and independent businesses that make our community, state and country so great! Hi-yo, Silver, away!
