If you weren’t one of the gazillion people who joined us at our Block Party last night, let’s just say we’re sorry you missed it! Nimble Arts was crazy impressive, defying gravity and awing the crowd with their beautiful acrobatics. The birthday cake was delicious and was gone in minutes. And Josh Panda & the Hot Damned pretty much knocked it out of the park and were SO much fun to dance to, people didn’t want to stop! Check some photos below.
But don’t worry – there’s still plenty of fun to be had today! Today’s Art Fest is open from 10am-4pm and Bidwell Lane and Stowe Street will be packed with amazing artwork of all kinds and delicious local foods. We will have live music all day and kids can participate in the first every ART SPY! Click here for more information, including our schedule. The forecast is calling for temps in the mid 70s so bring your sunscreen and your waterbottles (you can get a free refill at the Blue Cross Blue Shield Water Tent!) Please refrain from bringing your dogs since it will be a hot day to wear a fur coat on the pavement! Thanks!
The Waterbury Arts Fest would like to thank all our artists, performers, food vendors and musicians, as well as our volunteers and the hard working team at Revitalizing Waterbury. Our event would not be possible without the continued support of our sponsors, including our Benefactor Sponsor, Waterbury Pharmacy. But no event would be complete without the community that comes out to enjoy it so thank YOU, Waterbury and everyone coming down to Bidwell Lane and Stowe Street for the Waterbury Arts Fest! See you all soon!
