About the Artist

All items are made 100% by me, using vintage and repurposed materials. Mouthy Monsters are my cornerstone, they're lovable plush, for all ages, especially adults, but especially children! Their mouths are pockets for storing small treasures, remotes, eating smaller toys... I make them with reinforced stitching so they can withstand some decent play time. I also make beautiful, whimsical wall hangings, A-line skirts, comfy rayon/linen shorts, earrings from fabric and leather scraps, gnome hats from repurposed wool sweaters, pins and pocket mirrors made from found images (junk mail, magazines, etc), hand sewn flower clips and other fun stuff! I strive for zero waste, using even my smallest scraps as stuffing for my Mouthy Monsters and Ornamonsters.
