About the Artist

I am a sculptor and jewelry maker based in Bristol, VT. My experience as a jewelry maker draws on my background as a classically trained sculptor. With clay and re-purposed/ found materials, I create functional sculptures, decor, and jewelry that celebrate the endless possibilities of sustainability and regrowth. I’m inspired by the beauty of the forest floor, specifically mycology and mycelium’s role in the cycle of regeneration. My raw materials of clay are sourced from wholesalers who get damaged lots that can't be sold at standard craft stores so I buy it from them to reduce the likelihood of it ending up in a landfill. My other "main ingredients" are all locally sourced/found objects or discarded pieces that I come up on naturally. I make hand-sculpted earrings, pendants, planters/candle holders, trinket dishes, and pins, as well as hand printed patches, cards, prints, bookmarks, stickers and other stationary.
