About the Artist

Burlington based HoneyBee Heather, aka, Mellisa Heather Cain, is home to everything Vermonty, LGBTQ+ Pride and Rainbow art, and happy animals in vibrant, joyful colors. Featuring whimsical original watercolor paintings, art is available as prints, originals, postcards and, of course, STICKERS (over 90!)! Everyone ought to be able to have art, and HoneyBee Heather has at all price points. Stickers and prints are printed locally and all materials are sourced locally when available. Original Watercolors: Whimsical little watercolors that are matted and in a clear sleeve. Subjects range from “Vermont” things such as maps and landmarks to animals to kid focused subjects. There are lots of fruits and vegetables as well. Watercolors are 4x6” or 5x7” and start at $25 to $50, with most $30 or under. Prints: Each 8x10 print is printed on gloss art paper, with gorgeous colors and a satin shine. They are packaged in an archival safe sealed bag and recycled backing board. Perfect as is or ready to be framed. Subjects are mostly focused on Vermont: landmarks, birds, animals with some LGBTQ+ Pride subjects and vegetables. Prints are $18 each or 2 for $30. Printed locally at Spartan Press in the Old North End. Stickers: With over 90 designs to choose from, HoneyBee Heather has a sticker for everyone and EVERYWHERE. Vermont is a major theme as well as animals, Pride and some quirkys like Sardine Cans and Sushi. All stickers feature original artwork by Mellisa. Perfect for water bottles, computers, bikes, even the back of your car. Whenever you can think of putting a sticker! Stickers average 2-3 inches each and are printed locally in Burlington by Sticky Brand. The quality stickers are long lasting, outdoor durable, have UV protective laminate that prevents colors from fading, and weatherproof adhesive. Stickers are $3 each or 4 for $10. Other Items: HoneyBee Heather has a variety of other products, including cards, earrings and pins all featuring original designs in bright, fun colors.
