About the Artist

Ministry of Culture is a natural fiber clothing and accessories company located in West Burke, Vermont. Employing slow design and sustainable practices in the business, Ministry of Culture specializes in Hemp, Organic cotton, and recycled fleece women's clothing, as well as handmade 5-panel camp caps, 6-panel baseball hats, and waxed canvas bags. Each piece is designed from start to finish in-house, beginning with the idea that is then transformed into a pattern, before being cut, sewn, and finished. Over the last year, Ministry of Culture has expanded to include hats and bags made from original textile patterns that are screen-printed, using water-based inks, onto canvas before being sewn together into a finished piece.
